Sophie's Kitchen:

January has been a month of experimenting with flavours and textures to create new recipes as well as a cake worthy of submission to the Foodie Awards this year! I'll be launching a new flavour each month and will keep you updated through "Cake Bites from Sophie's Baked Delights".

Delight of the Month:

NEW FLAVOUR: Apple, Pecan & Butterscotch. WOW really excited about this decadent creation. Tangy Bramley Apples combined with chopped pecans gently folded into a moistly luscious cake, topped with Butterscotch frosting. My favourite creation so far and beyond yumptious  Excuse the amateur photo had to get a shot before the final prototype was demolished!
£12.50 for a 6" (15cm) taster cake. Go on you deserve it or know someone who does! It also freezes really well if you have the urge to be restrained! Call 01451 829992 or Click here to order

February Half Term & Easter Baking Classes:

Places are still available on my classes during the holidays aimed at 7-9 year olds and 9-15 year olds. Lots of fun learning to pipe and mix vegetable based food colouring into the buttercream before decorating cakes as well as learning how to bake them!
For more details of the individual classes and pictures from previous classes visit the website here. Class Prices start at £16.50. Cakes will boxed and ready to bring home when you collect your child.
Book here by clicking the enquire now button or call 01451 829992 for a friendly chat about what's involved.

Have you heard about?

I'd like to introduce you to a new foodie friend based in Northleach who will be bringing gorgeous Tuscan food products to the Cotswolds shortly. As I have a penchant for Italian Wine, Pecorino, Prosciutto, Bread and Olive Oil I can't wait for the tastings either! Visit him here Taste of Tuscany to find out more.

Visit me and taste:

At Stow Farmers Market on the 9th February. Delight of the month will be available to taste and buy as a cake or by the slice along with all the favourites by the slice. If you can make it, it would be fabulous to see you!

Have a great February and I'll be bringing you the next new flavour in March's "Cake Bite" along with an exclusive subscriber competition to win your favourite cake! If you want to hear more then follow me here:
