About Me
I began baking as soon as I could hold a spoon, stir and lick the bowl. I love food and apart from being essential to survival, its ability to bring people together as family and friends is something I value tremendously. Food has always been central to my family life. Both my mother and father cooked and baked as well as being full time teachers. My dad made fresh bread by hand every Saturday morning and mum always had some sort of baked treat on the go. My Grandmother pictured below (right hand side bottle in hand) had the natural ability to make something fabulous out of almost nothing. Always encouraged to join in, cooking and baking became a fundamental element in my life. I continue this tradition today with my own family. Everyone has their favourite delight and dessert is the quietest part of the meal!

Cakes and desserts are my real indulgence – I am forever inspired by what one can achieve with butter, eggs, flour and sugar!
When I’m not baking to order you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen, passing on my knowledge to those who want to join me in my kitchen or out learning even more from some extremely talented bakers and pâtissiers in order to bring you new scrumptious delights in addition to the standard menu.
I take pride in what I produce so core to my values is that I know both who produces my raw ingredients and how they are grown. Where this isn’t possible I ensure that my supplier is ethical and shares similar values. Staying local is equally important to me helping sustain the local economy. It also reduces unnecessary “food miles” to maintain freshness ensuring the best possible taste in every Baked Delight.
